Printing Quota

All student is giving a printing quota* of 30 pages per week for their report.

Three network printers, HP LaserJet 8000, are located at

• L.537 - printer name :
  • L537 printer
• L538 - printer name :
  • L538 printer A

To check your print quota, access p:/SMG/print quota/pascl32

Additional quota will be given if it is requested from lecturer.

Do before you print

• Check which print queue has the least jobs
• Check your available quota, else you will not print out anything if you do not have fund or your print job may be truncated if insufficient of fund
• If there is an error in the printer, do help by going to Level 4 Control RM to inform the helpdesk officer

Don't

• Do not just click print, must know which print queue that your print job will be sent
• Do not print duplicate copy. Be considerate, as everyone is sharing the same queue.
