What is MSDNAA?

All of the software licensed under the MSDNAA Program is available here for SIT students, faculty and staff at their convenience. Click on the Software tab to see the complete listing of software.

How to access the web site?

Q :

What is my account and password?

:

User will have to use their school email address (example : 012345a@nyp.edu.sg ). password was sent via email after the administrator has created the account..

 

Q :

How to recover your password?

 

Goto the MSDNAA login website, look out for the "I've forgotten my password" and click at the link.Enter the school email address (example : 012345a@nyp.edu.sg ). After 10 minutes, an email will be sent to your school email address.

 

Q :

What should you do if you did not receive any email?

 

Please send an email to elearn_helpdesk@nyp.edu.sg, with your school email address, course (example :DIT04), the administrator will check your account.

 

Q :

How do i obtain and install the software?

 

  • Once you've logged into the system, click on the Software tab to view the software titles available to you.
  • Example : you want visual.net 2003 professional 2003

  • Please follow the instructions. Student must click on option 2 and then click on Add to Chart.

 

 

Q :

I need visual studio.net , which software should i reserve?

 

  • Visual Studio .NET 2003 Professional 2003 CD1 ISO
  • Visula Studio .NET 2003 Professional 2003 CD2 ISO
  • Visual Studio .NET 2003 Professional 2003 Prerequisites ISO
  • MSDN Library for Visual Studio.Net 2003, Disc 1

Q:

I need the serial number of CD product, how?

 

  • To view serial numbers and any special instructions for the product(s), log into the system. Under "My Software" please select the product, you will see serial number

 

Q :

If I have a new computer or harddisk crash, how can i re-install?

 
  • You must login to MSDNAA again, goto "my software" and click at the respective software, you do a request re-install. After you have done that, do a reservation again and wait for your email on collection.

 

Other notes :

  • Only CDR is accepted by helpdesk officer.
  • Any unclaimed cutted CDR will be disposed after 2 months as reference from the order details.
